The W50 is Wandechang's (WDC) smart delivery robot, marketed in English as the PandaBot and in Chinese as 'Xiongda' (Big Bear) for its bear-eared face screen. It carries food, drinks and goods through restaurants, hotels, offices and care settings on four adjustable trays, delivering to several tables or rooms in one run and returning to charge on its own. It navigates by SLAM laser mapping combined with visual positioning, needs no tracks or markers, reaches positioning accuracy of about 5 cm and travels at up to 1.5 m/s while avoiding obstacles. The ABS body measures 500 x 530 x 1,300 mm and carries up to 80 kg in total, with sensing trays that detect when items are placed or taken. A laser radar, a depth vision sensor and a microphone ring array handle perception and voice interaction, the face screen shows expressions, and a 15.6-inch rear screen plays advertising video and pictures. It runs 8-10 hours on a charge and recharges in 3-4 hours, and works with WDC's autonomous dispatch system and intelligent route planning for multi-robot fleets.
