DESCRIPTION
PA-AMR is a Mobile-Robots from JumpToMachine Robotics. It is built for Picking, Transport. Key figures: 40 kg, 480 min runtime, 45 kg payload.
The Rapyuta PA-AMR is Rapyuta Robotics' pick-assist autonomous mobile robot for piece picking in logistics warehouses. It works alongside pickers: the robot drives to each location on routes planned by Rapyuta's AI and carries the totes, so associates - who otherwise spend 50-60 % of their day walking - only pick and place. It fits into existing layouts without changes, can start work the same day it is installed, runs alongside normal manual picking and scales by adding robots; it is offered for purchase or as a robot-as-a-service monthly fee, and Japanese 3PLs such as Nittsu and SGL use it. The standard model carries two 50-litre or four 10-litre containers on a patented retractable top tray and a bottom tray, with LED lights that show which tote to load to prevent mispicks, a touch screen, a removable barcode scanner and an emergency stop; front and rear LiDAR and two 3D cameras guide it smoothly through aisles. It carries 45 kg, weighs about 40 kg, travels at up to 1.4 m/s (adjustable) and runs eight hours with two-hour charging, with optional RFID. The rapyuta.io cloud platform coordinates the fleet and turns picking data into warehouse analytics. It won a Good Design Award in 2023.
