DESCRIPTION

Open Shuttle ASG is a Mobile-Robots from KNAPP. It is built for Intralogistics, Material-Handling, Transport. Key figures: 420 min runtime, 50 kg payload.

The KNAPP Open Shuttle ASG is an autonomous mobile robot built for electronics manufacturing. It moves PCB magazines, reels, trays, SMT load carriers, containers and cartons between storage, material towers, preparation areas, SMT lines, quality assurance and test areas, keeping lines supplied without fixed conveyors. It adjusts its width automatically to different magazine sizes so they cannot tip in transit, which lets one fleet carry many kinds of load carrier. It takes magazines up to 410 x 400 mm and containers up to 600 x 400 mm, up to two load carriers and 50 kg at a time, and hands over at heights of 500 to 1,500 mm. It is ESD-safe to protect semiconductors, PCBs and assemblies, and suitable for clean rooms. It travels at up to 1.5 m/s, runs about 7 hours per charge and recharges in around 60 minutes. Blue warning lights, a localisation sensor, a top scanner, optional 3D obstacle detection and active obstacle avoidance provide safety, and it is CE-marked, ISO 3691-4 compliant and VDA 5050 capable.
