DESCRIPTION

Open Shuttle 50/100 is a Mobile-Robots from KNAPP. It is built for Intralogistics, Material-Handling, Transport. Key figures: 420 min runtime, 120 kg payload.

The KNAPP Open Shuttle 50 and Open Shuttle 100 are autonomous mobile robots for moving containers, cartons, trays and container stacks between warehouse, production and work stations, without fixed conveyors. Typical jobs are just-in-time supply to assembly lines and production cells, links between manufacturing, inspection and packing stations, feeding goods-to-person picking stations, returning empties and replenishing kanban and flow racks. Both carry up to 120 kg and one or two load carriers at a time, at up to 1.5 m/s, and pick up and deliver at heights from 550 to 1,500 mm so they can connect directly to conveyors and racks. The Open Shuttle 50 takes load carriers up to 600 x 400 mm (two at 300 x 400 mm); the Open Shuttle 100 takes up to 900 x 650 mm (two at 650 x 450 mm). Each runs about 7 hours per charge and recharges in around 60 minutes. Blue warning lights, a top scanner, a localisation sensor, optional 3D obstacle detection and active obstacle avoidance keep them safe in mixed traffic. They are CE-marked, conform to ISO 3691-4, support VDA 5050 and offer ESD protection. KNAPP's KiSoft FCS fleet software coordinates them, and fleets can start with one robot and grow; SICK, for example, runs 27 Open Shuttle 100s across four production halls.
