Novus P-Mover is an autonomous forklift from Novus Hi-Tech (The Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz) that moves standard pallets and bins without a driver. It combines laser SLAM with vision navigation, needs no floor markers, and works alongside people and other automation such as conveyors and cobots. It comes in two variants. The ABOPT (autonomous battery-operated pallet truck) handles ground-to-ground moves: it carries up to 1,000 kg at 90 m/min, lifts from ground to 80 mm, measures 1,650 x 950 x 1,850 mm, weighs 350 kg and runs on a 48 V lithium-ion battery with opportunity charging. The STACKER handles ground-to-height moves: it carries up to 1,500 kg at 60 m/min, lifts hydraulically to 1,000 mm, measures 1,750 x 1,000 x 2,100 mm, weighs 850 kg and uses a 24 V lithium-ion battery with offline battery swapping. Both run about 8 hours per charge and stop within +/-50 mm. Safety comes from 360-degree sensing with safety-class area scanners, fork-tip non-contact bumpers and visual and audible alerts. The Novus software stack provides fleet control and traffic rules and connects to ERP, WMS, conveyors and PLCs through REST APIs, WebSocket and PLC protocols.
