DESCRIPTION

NAVIAI U2 is a Humanoid from Zhejiang Humanoid Robot Innovation Center. It is built for Data Collection, Material-Handling, Research. Key figures: 152 kg, 22 kg payload, 31 degrees of freedom.

NAVIAI U2 is the fixed-station member of the NAVIAI family, and its origin explains the design: it is the WA1 wheeled humanoid with the driven chassis replaced by a passive base. Where WA1 drives itself between tasks, U2 stays at one station and puts everything into reach and manipulation instead. The upper body is substantial for a workstation robot: 31 total degrees of freedom across a 7-DoF waist, 6 per arm, 2 per hand and 3 in the base, lifting 22 kg on a single arm or carrying 8 kg horizontally across both. It stands 1,714 mm in its own right and adjusts its working height between 1,745 and 1,995 mm, so it can be set to a bench or a high shelf. It weighs 152 kg and runs on mains power at 220 V rather than a battery — a fixed station does not need to carry its own energy. Perception runs on an AGX Orin with 64 GB and 1 TB against an i5 control computer, for 275 TOPS of base compute. A head depth camera and single-axis fingertip tactile sensors on the dexterous hands are standard; chest depth camera, hand camera and a 6-axis force-torque wrist sensor are optional. It carries a curved head display, a 4-microphone array and a 30 W speaker, with WiFi 6, 5G and BLE 5.2. Two versions ship. U2-S is the base configuration; U2-D is the data-collection version, which makes the hand camera standard and uses the F5D6-LC hand in place of the F5D6-L — the difference between a robot that works and one that also records how the work was done.
