DESCRIPTION

MYRO is a Mobile-Robots from Eternal Robotics. It is built for Coating, Construction, Painting. Key figures: 145 kg, released 2019.

MYRO is an autonomous robot from Eternal Robotics that spray-paints the interior walls of buildings under construction. It is a tall, wheeled tower that carries an airless spray system and a vertical painting module, and it moves along a wall by itself to apply primer or paint from floor level up to 3.1 m. An operator connects MYRO and sets up the paint in 15 to 20 minutes, then draws the floor plan in the MYRO iOS app and marks zones that must not be painted, such as doors and windows. The robot then paints autonomously, using laser guidance and sensors to keep its distance and to stop for obstacles; cleaning and maintenance afterwards take 20 to 30 minutes. It weighs 145 kg, stands 1,880 mm tall on a 876 x 696 mm footprint, draws 600 W from a 110 V or 240 V AC supply, works at 0 to 50 C and sprays water- or oil-based paints at 1,000 to 3,000 psi. The maker rates it at 80 to 100 square metres per hour, against about 10 for a painter. Reported jobs include 6,873 square metres across 18 apartments at Tata Realty's Rio de Goa project in January 2023, and demonstrations for Oberoi Construction, Sobha, Emaar, Nakheel and Direcional in India, the UAE and Brazil.
