DESCRIPTION
MOBI-L is a Medical-Robots from Rymo Technologies. It is built for Data Collection, Rehabilitation, Helping.
MOBI-L is a portable robotic rehabilitation system from Rymo Technologies for upper-limb, lower-limb and activities-of-daily-living (ADL) training. It is used by hospitals and physiotherapy clinics for neurological, orthopaedic and oncology rehabilitation. A motorised actuator unit is mounted on a height-adjustable column on a wheeled base, and a tablet on a separate stand runs the therapy software. With more than ten attachments, the robot trains seven or more joints, including the wrist, elbow, shoulder and forearm, and the ankle, knee and hip, across more than twenty exercises. It can drive the limb, assist the patient's own effort or resist it: assistive modes include continuous, triggered and active-assistive movement, and resistive modes include active, dynamic, isometric and elastic resistance. Twelve games at nine difficulty levels and more than fifteen 3D simulations of daily tasks, such as driving, turning a door knob, using a key and pouring water, keep patients engaged, while the system records range of motion, strength, speed and reaction time and produces progress reports for the physiotherapist. The unit needs about 6 sq ft of floor space and sets up in under ten seconds. Rymo describes it as patented and says its devices are CDSCO-marked and made under ISO 13485:2016.
