DESCRIPTION

M-410iB is an Industrial-Robot from FANUC. It is built for Material-Handling, palletizing, Box, bag and layer palletizing. Key figures: 700 kg payload, 3143 mm reach, 4 degrees of freedom.

The FANUC M-410iB is FANUC's former series of dedicated palletizing robots, sold in five sizes: the high-speed /140H (140 kg) and /160 (160 kg), the heavy-payload /300 (300 kg) and /450 (450 kg), and the super-heavy /700 (700 kg). It has since been replaced by the M-410iC and M-410iD. The /160, /300, /450 and /700 are floor-mounted 4-axis arms reaching 3.13-3.14 m and repeating to 0.5 mm, with a parallel-link arm that keeps the tool flange level. Throughput, measured with the maximum payload over a 2,000 mm horizontal and 400 mm vertical move, runs from 1,500 cycles an hour for the /160 to 1,000 for the /300 and 700 for the /450 and /700; including the 120 kg controller they weigh 1,940 kg (/160, /300), 2,430 kg (/450) and 2,700 kg (/700). The /140H is a lighter 5-axis variant (2.85 m reach, 0.2 mm repeatability, 1,200 kg) with a wrist that tilts up to 20 degrees, rated at 1,900 cycles an hour with a 45 kg load. All run off AC servo drives in 0-45 C plants, come iRVision ready for height detection, part sorting, inspection and depalletizing, and are programmed and simulated offline in ROBOGUIDE. Sargento Foods' Plymouth, Wisconsin cheese plant runs eight M-410iB cells, integrated by Intelligrated, each palletizing from up to three production lanes with a vacuum plenum end-of-arm tool.
