DESCRIPTION

IZAR 1500S is NIDO's autonomous battery-operated pallet truck, a compact pallet-handling AMR that lifts and moves three-stringer pallets in warehouses. It navigates by laser SLAM and can also be driven by hand. The truck carries a rated 1,500 kg at a 600 mm load centre, lifts to 120 mm and reaches 2 m/s with or without load. Its controller gives +/-10 mm and +/-1 degree positioning, and a single map can cover up to 400,000 square metres. Pallet and carrier recognition kits, a fork-tip single-point laser, 3D obstacle-avoidance kits, 360-degree laser protection, a safety bumper strip and a crash mechanism handle pallet entry and safety. The vehicle measures 1,712 x 932 x 1,902 mm and weighs 388 kg with its battery. A 48 V 23 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery gives 6 to 8 hours of work and charges from 10 to 80 percent in about an hour, manually or automatically; dual batteries can be swapped. Fleets are configured with Roboshop and dispatched by the RDS fleet management system. NIDO lists food, grocery, consumer goods and automotive spare parts warehouses among its users.
