DESCRIPTION

iRacker System is an Industrial-Robot from Canrig. It is built for Heavy-Item-Handling, Heavy-Lifting, Material-Handling.

The Canrig iRacker is an autonomous tubular-handling system, offered in electric and hydraulic versions, that makes pipe handling on the rig completely hands-free. Dropped objects and pipe handling are two of the most common causes of serious drilling incidents, and with the iRacker no workers are needed on the rig floor to trip pipe. It builds stands offline and handles upper, intermediate and production-size casing automatically. It weighs each pipe, measures tubular lengths on the catwalk and determines tubular diameter for the mouse hole and power slips automatically. Its modular design lets it be installed on any AC rig using two cranes, and it integrates with Canrig's SmartROS control system so the driller can control all rig-floor operations from the driller's cabin.
