DESCRIPTION

iMOW 5 EVO is a Consumer-Robot from STIHL. It is built for Service, Autonomous mulching lawn mowing on slopes up to 45 %. Key figures: 14.8 kg, 65 min runtime, released 2024.

The iMOW 5 EVO is a robotic lawn mower from STIHL's current iMOW generation for medium-sized private lawns of up to 1,500 m2. It mows inside a boundary wire with STIHL's Disc-Cut system - three free-swinging blades at high speed - across a 28 cm width, with the cutting height set electrically between 20 and 60 mm, and mulches the clippings back into the lawn. As an EVO model it handles slopes of 45 %, or 55 % with the optional upgrade kit, and adds a mobile-network connection to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Ultrasonic sensors let it slow down and mow close to obstacles, a rain sensor pauses work, and an alarm, PIN lock and geofence protect it against theft. The MY iMOW app handles mowing plans, zones and live data. Measuring 70 x 52 x 29 cm and weighing 14.8 kg, it mows up to 65 minutes per charge and fast-charges to 80 % in 50 minutes. STIHL introduced the generation in October 2024; the German shop lists it at EUR 1,199.
