DESCRIPTION

I-Robo2 is a Food-Service-Robots from TechMagic. It is built for Food-Handling, Service, Cooking. Key figures: 130 kg, released 2024.

I-Robo2 is TechMagic's stir-fry cooking robot for restaurant kitchens. It automates the wok station: a high-power IH heater, a rotating frying pan and a powered spatula are driven to recipes that reproduce a skilled chef's heat, rotation speed and direction, so staff only load ingredients while the robot cooks fried rice, noodles, stir-fried vegetables and similar dishes at about 30 meals an hour. After each dish it cleans its own pan, and recipes are set on a touch panel and can be managed across stores from the cloud. The single-IH unit measures 700 x 700 x 1,320 mm, weighs 130 kg and runs on three-phase 200 V at 8.5 kW. A smaller, easier-to-clean successor to the original I-Robo, I-Robo2 was announced in May 2024 and shown at FOOMA Japan that June. It has since been installed at Osaka Ohsho and Ippudo restaurants and, from August 2026, in Lawson convenience stores.
