DESCRIPTION
Ecoppia H4 is a Cleaning-Robots from Ecoppia. It is built for Cleaning, Monitoring.
The Ecoppia H4 is an autonomous, water-free robot that cleans rows of solar modules on utility-scale PV plants, on both fixed-tilt structures and single-axis trackers. It is the newest of Ecoppia's robots and won Top Product of the Year in the 2022 Environment + Energy Leader Awards. The robot spans the height of a panel row and travels along it on soft, flexible wheels, with no rails needed. Its patented Helix technology moves the robot horizontally while microfibre elements, helped by controlled airflow, clean vertically in a spiral motion so dust is swept down and off the modules. An automatic switch reverses the helix direction, so the robot can clean from either end of a row. Sensors and machine learning let it adapt its speed and pass obstacles, and a flexible frame spreads the load on the structure. A turbo 'Super Duster' mode handles heavy soiling after dust storms, and fast passes suit humid sites where cleaning must finish before dew forms. The H4 runs without operators, charges from its own solar module and is monitored through Ecoppia's cloud dashboards. It ships ready to install. Ecoppia says it was used alongside its E4 and T4 robots on Azure Power's 400 MW hybrid project in India.
