DESCRIPTION
DairyRobot R9650 is an Agricultural-Robots from GEA. It is built for Agriculture, Service, Automated fixed-time group milking of medium to large dairy herds. Key figures: released 2025.
The GEA DairyRobot R9650 is the full-subway version of GEA's R9600 batch-milking robots, built for automated group milking at fixed times on medium to large farms. A row of milking boxes sits above a cellar that houses the central receiver unit, milking modules, valve plates, milk lines and milk-sample removers, and can also take the vacuum pumps, compressors, plate coolers and supply units. Moving that equipment underground keeps the milking area quieter and cleaner, lets technicians service components without stopping milking, and, GEA says, lowers investment and servicing costs. Plug-and-play service modules cut downtime to minutes, and 6 to 24 boxes can be combined in one system. Above ground each box uses GEA's 3D-camera attachment, quarter-individual milking and In-Liner Everything process, with seamless cow entry and exit for high throughput. GEA introduced it with the R9600 series in 2025, offering a Founder's Edition package on deliveries that year.
