DESCRIPTION
DairyProQ is an Agricultural-Robots from GEA. It is built for Agriculture, Service, High-throughput automated milking of large dairy herds.
The GEA DairyProQ is an automatic rotary milking parlour - a robotic milking carousel - for large dairy farms from about 600 to more than 5,000 cows. Every stall carries its own GEA milking module, so cows are prepared, attached, milked and dipped automatically as the platform turns, with a one-to-one milking unit per cow. GEA rates it at 120 to 400 cows per hour with minimal staff. Its 3D cameras, quarter-individual milking and In-Liner Everything process are shared with GEA's DairyRobot boxes, and the optional DairyMilk M6850 sensor tracks cell counts per quarter. A modular design, online monitoring and a manual backup for emergencies keep the carousel running. GEA's largest installation, in China, runs two 80-point automatic rotaries milking more than 5,000 cows; a Czech cooperative reports 17,000 litres of milk a day in its first year.
