DESCRIPTION

CyRo is an Industrial-Robot from CynLr. It is built for Assembly, Material-Handling, Pick-and-place.

CyRo is a stationary, vision-guided manipulation robot from CynLr. Two six-axis arms sit on a fixed torso, and a third arm carries the CLX stereo vision head, which looks at parts from several viewpoints. CynLr's Object Intelligence software lets the robot pick and handle parts it has never seen without being trained on them first, including transparent and reflective parts, in bright or dim factory lighting. The robot uses live visual feedback to correct its movements as it works and judges each part's shape, rigidity and surface as it grasps. Force-torque sensing gives collision detection, compliant fitting and precise placement. It notices when a pick fails or a part starts to slip, adjusts its grip and tries again. The two arms can work on separate tasks at once, pass a part between them to turn it over in the air, or lift a heavy part together. CynLr aims CyRo at kitting, sorting, bin consolidation, bolting and mating (fitting parts together) on automotive and electronics assembly lines. It can be moved between workstations with little set-up time.

FEATURES

  • Stationary robot with two 6-axis arms on a fixed torso
  • Third arm carrying the CLX vision head (multi-perspective vision)
  • CLX convergent stereo vision with liquid-lens optics
  • Object Intelligence: picks and manipulates unfamiliar objects without prior training
  • Handles transparent and reflective parts
  • Works across bright and low factory lighting
  • Vision-based servoing in 3D
  • Real-time object characterisation (shape, rigidity, surface, size, position, colour, orientation)
  • Force-torque sensing for collision detection, compliance and precise placement
  • In-air reorientation of parts between the arms
  • Task parallelism: arms work independently on separate tasks
  • Autonomous failure re-attempt
  • Active slip detection using gripper current and force-torque feedback
  • Adaptive part grasping
  • Dual-arm compliance during tight assemblies
  • Combined dual-arm payload for heavy or bulky parts
  • Multi-arm synchronised operation
  • Hot swap between workstations with minimal installation time
  • Applications: bolting, bin consolidation, kitting (goods to robot), mating/assembly, sorting
