DESCRIPTION
C-SParX is a Mobile-Robots from Central Security Patrols. It is built for Security, Monitoring, Patrol. Key figures: 90 kg, 360 min runtime.
C-SParX (pronounced 'C-Sparks') is Central Security Patrols' autonomous indoor security robot. It follows patrol routes set on a high-accuracy map of the building, handles standing watch and patrols alongside human guards, and alerts them when its AI image analysis spots something wrong. CSP offers it as part of tailored guarding services for office buildings, stations and commercial facilities, and as a component of its security platform for large urban developments. LiDAR handles mapping, self-localisation and obstacle avoidance. A 3D camera detects obstacles ahead and at floor level, ToF sensors low on the front catch nearby obstacles and steps, and bumper sensors register contact. An edge PC with a GPU runs deep-learning analysis on the front and rear camera feeds, detecting people, falls, white canes and high-temperature heat sources or fire, with optional thermal and high-sensitivity cameras for night work. It also offers face recognition against black and white lists, live monitoring and recording, and a buzzer and flashing light to warn off intruders. A two-way call app lets the disaster-prevention centre talk through the robot or make announcements, and greetings can be registered in multiple languages. An optional elevator link and scheduled patrols let it cover several floors unattended. It is set up and monitored from a smartphone or tablet and connects over redundant multi-carrier 4G LTE plus 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi. Top speed is 1.8 km/h. The lithium-ion battery runs for more than six hours on a charge (the FAQ says about ten) and recharges in about five hours from a 100 V outlet; the robot is about 1,590 mm tall and weighs roughly 90 kg.
