Yezhik UVD is Aitheon's larger autonomous ultraviolet disinfection robot, recommended for industrial applications and large facilities such as hospitals and warehouses. It carries a UV-C lamp column through the site as part of a regular cleaning cycle; Aitheon quotes 99.99% effectiveness. Twelve UV bulbs (254 nm, 895 mm long) cover a 4 m diameter. A standard run lasts about 2 h 30 min and treats around 1,700 m2, expandable to 7 h 30 min and 5,100 m2 with additional battery pods; recharging takes 2 h 30 min at 120 V or 1 h 15 min at 220 V. Like the Laska it uses lidar, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, a microphone and speakers, detects objects at 16 m, predicts the movement of people and vehicles, avoids collisions and has emergency and manual stops. It measures about 810 x 610 x 1,700 mm, weighs over 140 kg with its power pod and UV accessory, runs on two mini and two full battery pods, has a touch screen and a 2-wheel drivetrain upgradeable to 4-wheel drive for outdoor or rough ground, and is piloted over WiFi through the Aitheon platform. It carries a 5-year warranty.
