KARMI-Clean is the UV disinfection variant of Asimov Robotics' KARMI-Bot. It navigates autonomously through infected areas and disinfects them with powerful UV lamps, following duty times and cleaning modes that are set and scheduled in a mobile app. It uses a 2+1-wheel differential drive with a tight turning radius and moves at up to 1 m/s, covering about 300 sq ft (28 m2) in 20 minutes. It charges in 2 hours and runs for 6 hours, with optional self-charging. Live video streaming lets the operator monitor the robot from a safe place, remote statistics track its work, and its software is designed to avoid risk if a person enters during operation. It is light, easy to handle and easy to transport.
