The Underdrive Omnidirectional is a 1,000 kg-capacity autonomous mobile robot from Bluepath Robotics of Istanbul, Turkey, whose omnidirectional drive lets it approach and leave a pallet or rack from any direction rather than manoeuvring to line up. The 1,850 x 850 x 350 mm low-profile chassis slides under the load and carries it at up to 1.5 m/s, which suits confined factory aisles and high-mix assembly lines where a differential robot would need turning room it does not have.
