The TR 10 is a 5-axis articulated industrial robot arm from Autofina Robotics with a 10 kg payload. It was designed by Autofina in Cambridge, UK, and is manufactured at the company's plant near Pune; the same arm design was built and sold in India under licence as the TAL Brabo robot until 2021. According to Autofina's brochure the arm reaches 750 mm, weighs 95 kg without its controller and repeats positions to within 0.2 mm. Its first three joints turn at up to 110 degrees per second and the wrist joints at 150 degrees per second, and it can be mounted on the floor or ceiling. The controller has 16 programmable digital I/O (expandable to 512), analog inputs and outputs, Ethernet, EtherCAT and Modbus TCP/IP, and a built-in PLC programmable in ladder, function block, structured text and SFC, and runs from single-phase 230 V AC. Autofina offers the TR 10 for pick-and-place, CNC machine tending, sealant and glue dispensing, spray and powder coating and vision-based inspection, and as the core of its Industrial Robotics Lab packages for colleges, where it is supplied with an application table, grippers, a conveyor, a colour sensor and a PLC. A smaller 2 kg model, the TR 02, shares the design.
