PIVOT is Deep Trekker's portable 'little workhorse' ROV for surveys, intake inspections, aquaculture, search and recovery and custom sensor payloads. It measures 360 x 310 x 576 mm, weighs 23.6 kg in air and is rated to 305 m, built from anodized machined aluminium, carbon fibre, stainless steel and buoyancy foam, with six independently controlled, fully reversible thrusters on magnetically coupled drives. Sensor fusion keeps it positioned where GPS does not reach underwater: depending on the mission it uses ROV GPS or USBL positioning together with DVL, dead reckoning and real-time tracking, so if one input drops out another takes over. An enhanced 4K camera, a laser scaler and quad LED lights capture inspection footage and photogrammetry for 3D models, and tethers up to 300 m are available. SMART, EXPERT, RECON and NAV packages add more batteries, longer tethers and a grabber.
