説明

A coal conveyor corridor is a long, noisy, dusty trestle that freezes in winter and that someone has to walk several times a day. TRI's answer is a rail-hung robot that runs the length of it continuously — and the company wrote the national standard for the category, the General Technical Standard for Coal Conveyor Gallery Inspection Robots in Thermal Power Plants. The robot is compact, 320 x 210 x 317 mm and 10 kg, travelling at up to 0.6 m/s on rail that may climb up to 35 degrees, with a 360-degree pan and -25 to 90 degree tilt head. It carries a 1080p RGB camera and a 240 x 160 thermal camera measuring -20 to 120 degrees Celsius, a pickup covering 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 120 dB SPL, and an environmental package: smoke 300-10,000 ppm, methane 0-100 per cent, carbon monoxide 0-2,000 ppm, and dust with temperature and humidity from 0 to 1,000 µg/m3. Positioning is by RFID tag, lighting is infrared-assisted, and range is 5 to 8 km on a charge with a two-hour recharge. It is rated IP66 and specified from -30 to 60 degrees Celsius. What it watches is specific: real-time quantified belt deviation with fault prediction, foreign objects on the belt, coal spillage located along the belt line, infrared temperature of every idler and roller, blockage at key points, dust concentration in the trestle with limit alarms, concentrated heat, smoke and open flame, and safety models for people falling or working without a helmet. The design intent is integration rather than an extra data feed. It links to the belt start-stop system, the site's existing video surveillance, the belt tear detection device and the fire protection system, so an alarm can act rather than merely be raised. Data goes to a big-data platform with long-term time-series and video storage and a built-in AI analysis platform supporting training-set annotation and model training. TRI estimates savings of around 200,000 yuan a year per plant, and applies the robot to power plants, coal mines, smelters and cement works as well.
