The RXR-C6BD is the reconnaissance half of Guoxing's explosion-proof line — it goes in first and tells the incident commander what is there, rather than fighting the fire itself. Its defining feature is a 360-degree monitoring pan-tilt head on a mast that lifts to 2000 mm, giving a view over obstacles with no blind spots, backed by three-way cameras collecting imagery around the machine and uploading it to the control centre. It picks up sound around the robot as well, which matters when searching for trapped people, and detects six types of toxic and flammable gas along with scene temperature and humidity. Physically it is close to its firefighting sibling — up to 700 kg, climbing 70% grades, crossing 220 mm obstacles, running over five hours and taking about 80 kg of payload — and it shares the same IP67 chassis, 1000 metre control range and redundant wireless control.
