NYUMA is an autonomous, waterless cleaning robot from Taypro for fixed-tilt and seasonal-tilt utility-scale solar plants. Taypro positions it as the lower-consumable alternative to its dual-pass GLYDE, using a single-pass brush instead of microfibre. Each robot is assigned to one array and parks at a dedicated dock, charging its lithium-ion battery from an onboard solar panel. On schedule it travels along the module frame, and a counter-rotating PBT brush drum sweeps dry dust off in one pass; Taypro states over 98 percent of dust is removed per run. Edge detection and surface-undulation tracking keep it on the frame rather than the glass, and the bristles come in field-replaceable cartridges. Battery-aware routing ensures it finishes each row before returning to its dock, which locks against gusts up to 180 km/h. NYUMA shares GLYDE's frame: 750 by 4,800 mm, 38 kg, 10 to 15 m per minute and up to 2.2 km of row, about 3,600 modules, per charge, on tables tilted up to 45 degrees. It is rated IP65, works up to 90 C and is managed in Taypro's NECTYR fleet portal.
