The SB-03 is a semi-automatic, waterless solar panel cleaning robot from Solabot for solar plants that are already commissioned. It is a plug-and-play system that needs no installation of rails, docking stations or control wiring, so site teams can use it whenever cleaning is needed. A technician places the robot on a row of modules using its built-in pick-and-place stand and starts it with one touch. The robot then travels along the row on polyurethane wheels, sweeping dust off the panels with ultra-soft PBT bristles, and an auto-stop mechanism halts it at the end of the row. It runs on a portable battery and can be moved from row to row, so one unit can clean several rows. The robot has a lightweight structure, does not need a supporting structure on the table and is rated IP65. Solabot positions it as a lower-cost alternative to its fully automatic SB-01 for retrofit cleaning.
