Shreem is a lightweight, portable solar panel cleaning robot from Aegeus Technologies, aimed at residential, commercial and industrial rooftop installations. It cleans without water using what Aegeus calls dual Air-Wash: two sets of soft microfibre brushes, one axial and one radial, combined with controlled airflow that blows dust off the panel surface and edges. Edge-detection sensors and its navigation system keep the robot on a straight path across the panel table, adjust for unevenness and tell a gap between tables from the end of a table. Depending on the variant it weighs about 5 to 16 kg, so it can be carried between roofs in a backpack and set up in minutes. Aegeus rates it at up to 600 panels per hour. The base version is controlled through a Bluetooth smartphone app and charged with an external AC charger. Versions for larger farms and multi-building sites add RF remote control and autonomous operation with a solar-powered docking station. The dock tracks rain and wind speed, keeping the robot docked or calling it back mid-run when conditions are unsafe.
