Leidos Sea Specter

Sea Specter is a small unmanned surface vessel (SUSV) designed around signature rather than speed. Leidos says it "operates where conventional platforms lose effectiveness", with a low acoustic and visual signature suiting it to ISR, force protection and presence operations in denied environments. Leidos states the design is inspired by narco-sub technology: a stealthy, long-range platform that navigates undetected while delivering supplies and firepower deep into contested waters. The published imagery shows a very low-freeboard hull sitting almost flush with the surface, consistent with that. The armed and logistics roles are worth noting — most of the Leidos surface line is framed around sensing, while Sea Specter is described as carrying both cargo and weapons. No dimensions, displacement, speed, range or payload are published.
