The W100 is GC Robotics' rugged outdoor wheeled platform, and its distinguishing feature is how many ways it can move. Independent four-wheel drive with fully independent suspension supports four motion modes — rotation in place, Ackermann steering, sideways translation and diagonal movement — which between them cover almost any manoeuvre a confined outdoor site demands. It is the fastest machine in the range at 3 m/s, carries 300 kg on a 75 kg frame, climbs 30 degrees, wades 300 mm and is sealed to IP55, running up to sixteen hours unloaded from a 36 V 26 Ah pack with a 2.5 hour recharge. Its drive arrangement is unusual and worth noting: the specification lists both 500 W x 4 and 400 W x 4 motors, consistent with separate drive and steering motor sets for the four independently steered corners. A NOTE ON WHAT THE PICTURES SHOW: GC Robotics illustrates the W100 as a finished vehicle with an enclosed white-and-blue payload body, wheel arches and a wraparound bumper, and that is the render the company publishes on its own site. The specification figures quoted here — 800 x 520 x 350 mm — describe the bare platform underneath that bodywork, not the bodied vehicle in the photograph, and the portfolio's own dimension drawing of the bodied configuration reads 660 x 642 x 686 mm. The platform is sold open: sensing, autonomy and payloads are added by the integrator, and the enclosed body in the imagery is one such build rather than standard equipment. GC Robotics aims it at outdoor inspection, smart agriculture, security patrol, autonomous transport and robotics research.
