The VERSABOT 1500 (VB1500) is the heavy lifter of VersaBox's AMR fleet: it handles three times as much cargo as the basic VB500 with the same agility and shares its modular design, so the same family of top modules - including a dedicated VB1500 lift module, roller and coupler modules - adapts it to pallets, racks and other heavy loads. Like all VERSABOTs it needs no changes to the building - no magnetic or induction lines or beacons - and can start work out of the box: an operator indicates a point on the map and the robot drives there autonomously, without a joystick. Front-mounted or bi-directional 3D camera sensor packs support precise manoeuvring and obstacle avoidance, and standardized top modules adapt it to different payloads and transfer systems. The VB1500 carries up to 1,500 kg, drives at up to 1.8 m/s and runs for about 8 hours per battery charge; the platform weighs 420 kg and measures about 1,510 x 925 x 311 mm.
