The Muratec L2 and L4 Low are low-profile compact shuttle AGVs from the L-Series for moving heavy carts, towing and pallet transfers along busy aisles. They slide under a cart, raise it on a powered lift platform to 'piggyback' it off the floor, and carry it safely alongside people at up to 294 ft/min (about 90 m/min). Configured for lifting or towing, they handle loads of up to 1,700 lb (about 770 kg). They also interface with plant equipment, positioning loads accurately whatever the pallet or rack size. Navigation can be by contour (natural features), inductive wire or magnetic guidance.
