That positioning drives the whole specification. It weighs about 1.8 kg in aerospace-grade aluminium alloy and T700 carbon fibre, because anything heavier is a burden on a long climb rather than a help. Its second-generation AI MotionEngine recognises terrain in real time and adapts the assistance automatically across more than ten movement modes, instead of holding a fixed profile that helps on the flat and fights you on a scramble. Dual motors deliver 800 W peak per side with millisecond response and four selectable assistance levels. TOREAD claims 40% enhanced leg strength and the sensation of 20 kg less load. The details that matter on a real trip are the unglamorous ones: a 5000 mAh battery giving roughly four hours or 20 km of hiking, an 80 W fast charge that refills in about an hour, a battery swap that takes around three seconds so a spare pack keeps you moving, IP54 sealing, cold resistance to -20 degrees Celsius, and a quoted service durability of 4000 km.
