BESCHREIBUNG

The DNSYS Z1 addresses the knee rather than the hip, which makes it a descent-and-load device as much as a climbing one: it takes up to 200 percent of body weight off the knees, where most of the damage from carrying a pack downhill is done. Two 900 W motors supply around a 50 percent boost to muscle power, and the whole assembly weighs 680 grams - light enough that it does not itself become the load. AI motion support reads the wearer's movement and adjusts assistance continuously rather than by fixed setting. Two trims are sold, the Z1 Dual Joint and the Z1 Dual Joint Pro, and the Z1 can be paired with the DNSYS X1 hip exoskeleton for full-leg assistance. DNSYS quotes the Z1 Pro at 50 percent more power per step, roughly 44 lb of felt weight removed on a climb, and additional hiking and vertical range.
