The Hypershell X Go is the entry point to the range: 400 W of hip assistance across six intelligent modes, in the same 2 kg folding frame as the rest of the line. Two motors at the hips are driven by Hypershell's AI MotionEngine, which reads more than a dozen sensors - IMUs, gyroscopes, accelerometers and barometers - to track the wearer in three dimensions and vary power stride by stride rather than pushing at a fixed rate. One 72 Wh battery is included, good for about 15 km, and it can be carried onto an aircraft because it sits below the 100 Wh cabin limit. It is IP54 rated and specified to -10 degrees Celsius. Hypershell is explicit that this is not a medical device: it is for people who can already walk independently. The X Go has since been discontinued in favour of the newer X Series S models.
