BESCHREIBUNG

The D100 is GC Robotics' tracked chassis, built for ground that defeats wheels: mud, sand, gravel, grass and rock. Natural rubber tracks spread its weight to a low ground pressure while giving the traction a wheeled base cannot, and it wades 500 mm, climbs 20 degrees and clears 60 mm obstacles while still rotating within its own footprint. It carries 80 kg, is sealed to IP55, and runs five hours from a 36 V 32 Ah pack with a wide 24 to 60 V operating range. Unlike the indoor platforms it is deliberately sold without perception: the architecture is open for the integrator to add LiDAR, cameras, GNSS receivers, robotic arms and application-specific payloads. It does, however, ship able to drive itself as well as be driven — the manufacturer publishes both a maximum remote-control speed and a maximum autonomous navigation speed of 1.0 m/s. GC Robotics aims it at industrial inspection, autonomous transport, smart agriculture, orchard work, environmental monitoring and outdoor robotics research.
