BESCHREIBUNG
FREE Walk ist ein Medical-Robots von FREE Bionics. Er ist für Medizinische Assistenz, Rehabilitation ausgelegt. Eckdaten: 20 kg, 120 min Laufzeit, 100 kg Traglast.
FREE Walk is FREE Bionics' powered lower-limb exoskeleton that helps people with lower-limb weakness, such as spinal cord injury and stroke patients, stand up, walk and sit down again. Users can put the device on and take it off independently; its legs open up to 90 degrees to let the legs in and out, and pressing buttons on the crutches makes it sit, stand or walk while it provides the power and support and mimics a natural human gait. It responds to the user's intention to move or stop, and training status and records can be uploaded so clinicians can tailor training programmes. The 20 kg exoskeleton supports users up to 100 kg and 150 to 190 cm tall, walks at up to 2 km/h, handles slopes of 3 to 5 degrees and runs about 2 hours per charge. A slim back structure, adjustable torso fitting, gapped joints that leave room for muscles and reduce pressure sores, and ankle-sagging prevention improve stability and comfort; fitting for a new user takes about 5 minutes with two wrenches, and the robot travels in custom luggage. FREE Walk holds a Taiwan FDA medical device licence and CE marking.
