BESCHREIBUNG

The 'Yun Qing' is CETC's upper-limb exoskeleton, built for the specific injury that overhead work causes: shoulder and arm fatigue in construction installation, equipment assembly, tunnel drilling and overhead fitting. It senses the wearer's upward movement trend and feeds in progressive lifting support as the arms rise. The engineering choice that defines it is a Bowden cable drive with the power system mounted at the waist, which leaves the upper limbs entirely motor-free — the arms stay light and flexible while the heavy actuation sits on the hips, where the wearer's skeleton is better able to carry it. The shoulder joint gives 3 degrees of freedom with what CETC describes as zero lag, multi-sensor fusion handles force transmission, and the structure is ultra-light carbon fibre. At 5.0 kg it runs four hours, fits wearers between 160 and 190 cm, and delivers an assistance efficiency of 40% or better across a working range of -20 to 50 degrees Celsius.

FUNKTIONEN

  • 5.0 kg total weight
  • Fits users from 160 to 190 cm tall
  • Battery life of 4 hours
  • Assists the shoulder joint with an assistance efficiency of 40% or better
  • 3 degrees of freedom at the shoulder joint, described as flexible with zero lag
  • Motor-free upper limb: a flexible Bowden cable drive places the power system at the waist, keeping the arms light
  • Multi-sensor fusion perception for precise force transmission
  • Ultra-light carbon fibre construction
  • High-performance CPU driving a high power density drive
  • Senses the upward movement trend and provides progressive lifting support
  • Operating temperature from -20 to 50 degrees Celsius
  • Applications covering posture maintenance, lifting and reducing upper limb muscle strain
