Hey, everyone. Today we're taking a look at a really exciting project where we set up a simulated instance of our HMI to communicate with a Universal Robotics ur5. This entire video was made possible thanks to the support of #universalrobots and #Schmalz. So a big thank you to both of our wonderful partners. What really stood out to me right away was how intuitive the universal robotics software is. Just for context, I don't usually work with robotics. I rarely get hands on with servos, let alone a full robotic arm. And while the Ur5 isn't giant, it's definitely a lot larger than anything I've used before. Despite that, the setup process felt incredibly straightforward. I didn't feel like I needed deep programming experience to get started, which reminded me a lot of why I enjoy working with Easy Builder Pro. Both platforms prioritize ease of use, and it's great to see Universal Robotics and Weintek moving in the same direction when it comes to user friendly software. To get started with the Ur5, I just followed a few simple steps from the manual. I press the power button, and I wait for the robot to go through its booting states, and when it's ready, I press the start button to release the brakes. And just like that, we're ready to move the robot. As someone who learns by doing, my first instinct was to just test something basic. So I went to the move tab. I clicked the up button, and the robot went up, and I clicked the down button, and it moved down. It was a simple, intuitive test that confirmed that we were ready to move to the next step. So next I wanted to test communication with our HMI. Now my first thou
