The TD500 is one of the two exterior wall spraying robots developed by Bozhilin Robot, the construction-robotics company of Country Garden that markets its machines as Bright Dream Robotics; in North America it is sold through the dealer ProBuild Robotics. It paints building facades at height without a worker in the gondola: the robot hangs from a standard suspended work platform, climbs and aligns itself with the spraying start point automatically, and then sprays the wall in a one-key mode. The TD500 uses low-pressure air spraying for textured finishes such as relief paint, multicolour paint and natural stone paint, while its sibling TR500 uses high-pressure airless spraying for emulsion paint. Graphical trajectory planning and breakpoint resumption make it straightforward to programme, and posture stability control with remote spraying-pressure monitoring keeps the finish uniform. Safety functions include overspeed limiting, overload monitoring, posture and wind-speed monitoring and an emergency release that lowers the robot to the ground if it faults in the air. The robot measures 3,250 x 1,700 x 2,000 mm, weighs 650 kg empty and 950 kg fully loaded, carries a 200 L material tank, runs on centralised 3-phase AC380V power with IP54 protection and works in wind below 8.3 m/s (force 5). Bright Dream rates its spraying efficiency at three to five times manual work; the product holds 8+ patents and won a 2022 Red Dot design award.
