The Polaris PIXEL is a small cordless robotic cleaner for above-ground and simple in-ground pools. It has one mode and a single slide switch: drop it in and it cleans the pool floor and cove in about 1.5 hours on its lithium-ion battery. Cyclonic vacuum technology keeps suction strong, a sturdy brush loosens debris, and the 2-litre Easy Clean canister has a transparent window to show when it is full. At the end of the cycle the PIXEL waits at the wall to be pulled up with a pool-pole hook, and recharges indoors in under three hours.
