The UniMover U 1500 is Oceaneering Mobile Robotics' heavy-duty underride robot for single heavy payloads such as car bodies, palletised goods and parts assemblies, with optional deck attachments for non-standard loads. It lifts up to 1,500 kg on an incorporated lift deck to 680 mm at 50 mm/s - fast lifting that cuts overall transport time - and drives at up to 1.6 m/s with a 1,581 mm turning radius, navigating by natural features to plus or minus 10 mm and 1 degree. The low 2,000 x 800 x 480 mm robot runs on a 24 V lithium-ion battery with automatic floor charging. Safety includes a safety PLC, two safety lasers for 360-degree coverage, four emergency stops, three load presence sensors and lift-mechanism integrity monitoring, with ANSI B56.5 / ISO 3691-4 compliance and an integrated touchscreen; it works indoors in mixed fleets.
