The i3 is the legged member of the NAVIAI range and the one built to go outside. It stands 180 cm with a deliberately rugged appearance, and the engineering emphasis is in the lower body: high-torque leg joints that give it both stability and the ability to carry load rather than merely stay upright. What it is sold on is terrain. It walks steadily over gravel, slopes and grass, transitions smoothly between standing and crouching, and reaches 9 km/h at the top end — fast for a full-size biped. The company also claims it takes heavy impacts and stays balanced under external disturbance, which is the harder property to demonstrate and the one that matters for a machine working outdoors among people. Above the legs it combines autonomous navigation with precision manipulation, using whole-body coordination to run complex tasks over long shifts. Its Chinese name translates roughly as intelligent guardian, and the positioning is patrol and all-terrain duty rather than factory work.
