The MOBOT TRANSPORTER T15 is WObit's heavy-duty autonomous tugger: instead of carrying loads, it tows carts with a replaceable hitch at its rear, with a permissible total towed load of 1,500 kg. It is built for demanding conditions - rated IP65, it works from -25 to +50 C, and its safety scanners are specified for rain, snow, fog and strong light - and it drives at up to 5 km/h on two brushless servo motors with 250 mm wheels, turning on the spot. Power comes from a non-replaceable lithium-ion pack (basic 2 batteries, optionally 4 or 6) charged automatically through an induction coil on the floor; with four batteries WObit quotes an operating time of about 80 minutes per charge and a 10-100% charge in about 40 minutes, so the robot tops up between runs. The robot measures 1,029 x 818 x 479 mm and weighs about 300 kg.
