LUF 60C is the compact version of the LUF 60, built for narrow buildings, underground shafts and warehouses. At 1,150 mm wide and 1,900 mm high it passes through standard European emergency exits. A 100 hp diesel engine drives the crawler chassis, and a booster pump supplies 1,800 litres of water per minute at 10 bar, which the fan throws more than 60 m as fine droplets. It takes foam at about 35 m, climbs stairs and ramps to 30 degrees, can push aside obstacles such as cars, and is remotely controlled at up to about 300 m.
