KELO DT 500 (dock and tow) is a collaborative mobile robot that docks to carts, parcel trolleys and dollies and tows them across a facility. AI-based object recognition finds the cart, and the docking mechanism works with load carriers that have at least 135 mm of ground clearance. It carries 500 kg and tows 750 kg while weighing just 80 kg, on four omnidirectional KELO drives. It works autonomously, and a worker can take over by gripping the handlebar, then press a button to send it back to its task.
