Flex Floor 1.0 is Fori Automation's high-capacity, uni-directional automated guided cart, used as a unit-load or tunnel AGC for material handling and assembly. It can be integrated with custom tooling for assembly applications or supplied with an automatic hitch pin for towing, and is typically used in loop assembly and material handling lines in automotive and non-automotive plants. The standard cart carries 3,000 lbs (1,364 kg), which can be increased on request, and travels at up to 180 ft per minute following magnetic bar, tape or optical guidance with +/- 12 mm positioning repeatability. Length and width are customisable; it runs on a 24 VDC architecture with lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries, a Siemens PLC-based control system and onboard safety scanners and bumpers.
