The CODROID 02 is Estun Codroid's full humanoid, and the point of it is industrial work rather than demonstration. ESTUN is a Nanjing industrial-robot maker, and the 02 is where it puts embodied AI on legs: the company describes the machine as pairing a high-frequency control layer with a low-frequency reasoning layer, aimed at picking non-standard parts, moving material between warehouse and line, and precision assembly. It stands 170 cm and weighs 70 kg without its battery. Each of the two arms is 602 mm from shoulder to wrist and carries 5 kg excluding the hand, with seven degrees of freedom per arm, six per leg, two in the head and either one or three at the waist, for 29 or 31 in total depending on configuration. The hands have six degrees of freedom each and can take tactile sensors. Perception is a head camera and a chest camera, with a microphone and speaker for voice. Two controllers run it, which the company calls the humanoid brain and the humanoid cerebellum, and it carries a 15 Ah battery. Connectivity is Ethernet and USB 3.0, and secondary development is supported. The joints are Estun Codroid's own: the rigid SA series, which it rates for high load, long life and high output torque, and the proprioceptive PA series, built for fast response, high torque density and impact resistance. Making its own actuators is the thread that connects this robot to the company's cobot and component business.
