The M1 3D is the top of Ecovacs' commercial scrubber line, and the '3D' is the whole argument. Where the standard DEEBOT PRO M1 navigates on 2D LiDAR and a time-of-flight sensor, this one adds a 3D 360-degree LiDAR and fuses the two, which is what lets Ecovacs claim it keeps working after as much as 60 percent of a site's layout has changed WITHOUT being remapped. In a warehouse or an airport concourse where pallets and barriers move weekly, remapping is the actual operating cost, and that is the problem being sold against. Mechanically it is close to its sibling - 500 mm roller brush, 35 litres of clean water against 33 of waste, 2,160 m2/h theoretical throughput, 1.2 m/s - but it stands 1,050 mm tall against the M1's 1,012 and weighs 126.5 kg. A 60 Ah lithium iron phosphate pack gives 3.5 hours of scrubbing or 8 hours of dust mopping, roughly 7,560 m2 scrubbed per charge, and recharges in two and a half hours. It sweeps and scrubs in one pass and leaves floors dry enough to walk on immediately, doses detergent automatically, and self-cleans its sewage tank to keep bacterial growth down. Sensing runs to RGB-D, line laser, geomagnetic and a bumper alongside the two LiDARs, catching obstacles as low as 2 cm. It rides lifts and passes access-control gates unaided, and reports through Ecovacs' app and cloud platform.
