Atlas AC2000 is an autonomous counterbalance forklift from Humro, the robotics brand of Pune-based ARAPL. It is designed to load and unload trucks and to move pallets around the clock without a driver, and connects to warehouse management (WMS) and ERP systems. The forklift navigates by laser SLAM and uses LiDAR scanners, a 3D laser scanner on top, 3D cameras and anti-collision bumpers to detect people and obstacles, slowing or stopping as needed; restricted zones can be configured. It can run automatically, manually or from a handheld controller. It is rated for 2,000 kg, lifts to 4,500 mm (or 2,500 mm on the lower mast), travels at up to 2.5 m/s and positions to within 10 mm. The truck measures 3,291 x 1,250 x 2,194 mm, weighs 3,940 kg and needs a 3,574 mm aisle for a 40 x 48 in pallet. A 48 V, 410 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery supports opportunity charging, with about 3 hours of charging for 8 hours of work. Humro also lists 1,500, 3,500 and 4,500 kg versions of the Atlas.
